HOW DO I KNOW WHAT HOTEL I’M STAYING IN?
Please visit your ‘CAN/AM Dashboard’ by visiting www.canamhockey.com- your hotel assignment will be found there.
WHAT SHOULD I DO ONCE WE ARRIVE AT THE TOURNAMENT?
Hotel check-in times may vary so be sure to contact your hotel. Individual teams can choose their communication plan for the weekend; check in with fellow teammates and families to connect once you arrive. You can head to one of the rinks to cheer on a Masco team if you have some free time when you arrive!
SHOULD WE PLAN TO ATTEND AN OPENING CEREMONY?
Unlike Lake Placid, this tournament will not have a formal opening ceremony; also, there is no open skate to plan for. All of this is unique to Lake Placid- the Olympic history of the rink and town encourages this enrichment.
WILL THERE BE A SKILLS COMPETITION?
No. This tournament does not offer a skills competition.
DO WE HAVE A TEAM DINNER OR PIZZA PARTY? No team pizza party will be offered by CAN/AM; teams will have to plan for their own team lunch/dinner independently. Team Managers and coaches will be coordinating a team event. Please be sure to stay in communication through WhatsApp. Again, dining options in the area are endless!!!
ARE ANY MEALS INCLUDED? WHAT DO YOU DO FOR MEALS?
Meals are not included in our tournament package so families will need to plan accordingly. This will allow our teams/families the freedom to plan based on personal preferences. Dining options in the area are plentiful! CAN/AM shared this info in an email which may be helpful.
